Bean Curd in Chatdam

General Sau Chicken was very good. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Pathetic food. Some of the chicken pieces had plastic around them.

Had chicken lo mein and general tso chicken and it was really good.

Adorable restaurant; clean looking and fin decor. However...the staff works so efficiently they forget to be friendly or hospitable. I started hysterically laughing at the table because it was so comical how quickly they dash around, even colliding into each other at points lol. The food was sub par and the tea served so hot it burned my mouth. Since being home, I've felt sick to my stomach and I anticipate what kind of shape I'll be in in the morning. Ugh. Thanks, Bean Curd.

Been going here sense I was a kid, some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. You have to stay in the restaurant to get the freshest food, takeout kind of ruins the freshness. Check this place out!

I found a new favorite place for Chinese. The General Tso chicken is excellent. So much I couldn't finish. The decor is really great.

This is obviously one of the most attractive restaurants in the neighborhood. Always when I go there I am deeply happy. They hold their high level service and the highest level of cooking they offer. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Hadn't been here in years so I decided to run a test with an order of wonton soup...way overpriced for a few lonely, stale wontons floating around in tasteless, salty broth...see ya Bean Curd!

A chinese restaurant you can bring your family or a date to. It’s a classy chinese food place with a simple Americanized menu. Interesting twist but something that works really well in the neighborhood.

That humble restaurant serves fresh, wholesome food, and per your request will add or remove ingredients. The modest price is so reasonable, I always give a big tip to thank them.

This is hands-down my favorite restaurant. The people are delightful and friendly, and the service is great. I have eaten here a hundred times and I've never had a bad experience.

Attentive service, good food, reasonable portions and very fair prices. Bean Curd is a neighboorhood institution, known for its Americanized Szechuan cuisine. It is not gourmet (thus the 4 stars) but it is much better than the run of the mill local Chinese eatery. With the year round Christmas decor it is also very festive!

I have been going to this place for years. I have never had a bad experience or bad food or service ever. The staff is friendly, inviting and the whole atmosphere is just warm and calming. I would never eat at another Chinese food restaurant after eating here, the food is phenomenal!! I’d recommend it to anyone and everyone!! If I could give it 10 stars I would, that’s how good this place is :)

This spot is fantastic! Convenient rates, considerable portions and the staff are consistently super friendly.

I ordered a general tso’s lunch combo and received 5 peices of chicken and 2 wontons in my soup. I will not be eating here ever again. Food quality seems good but quantity is disturbing.

Decor is cute and romantic. Food is amazing. Pork fried rice is seriously so good. Other customers seemed rude to staff here.

My husband and I decided that this was going to be "our" restaurant because of the decoration and the friendliness of the waiter. The waitress is not that friendly, though. The food is great, and the portions fair.

From the first moment you step in this place the waiters give you a nice feeling. Very comfortable team, it is a nice place to pass time with buddies or with your date. enjoyable food, qualified chief cook and stuff, good price and professional service. Highly recommended.

Disgusting don't get the seafood or anything at all it for that matter. It was smelly and had a foul taste!!! I acutally couldnt eat more then 5 bites !! The only reason it im givong them a star was vecause they were polite!!

My parents and I used to go there very often. Helen was a very good hostess. She and my parents would always talk with each other. Helen is a great owner of the restaurant. Terrible food. The shrimp were see through and the noodles were unnecessarily greasy. There are much better Chinese options in the area. Personal vote for best Chinese in the area is the Hunan Chinese Room in Morris Plains.

We had a disappointing experience today. Ordered through DoorDash. The food was mediocre in taste & quality (over fried & dry chicken, nothing-special chow main, salty bean curds & vegetables) and small (really small) dish sizes. So a rip-off for a subpar food, ranking quite low in terms of value-for-money. We used to like the place, but won’t be returning to order from here any time soon.

I've been going to bean curd for many years and it seems they've gone down hill. I ordered two dinners to go, each with a white rice, and bean curd put both of the white rices in the same container. I explained this was an issue because the two meals were going to be eaten in different places by different people but they didn't care. No solution, not even an offer to give me a second box to split the rice into, the cashier just kept reiterating that they put it in one box for me. I made it clear I asked for two, she didn't care.I won't be coming back again, the food is too expensive to not even be able to get what you asked for.

A little warm in there today but I was getting takeout I don't eat there anymore cuz parents tend to drop off the young kids to eat and they disturb everybody else but the food is fantastic and the customer service is great

The place is extraordinary and roomy, the menu was enchanting and the rates were very inexpensive. rapidly, efficient service and very amiable staff. Will definitely recommend this spot.
